Ella leaned forward, her grin widening as though she were gearing up for something big. “All right, the kiddie gloves are coming off!” she announced, practically buzzing with excitement.
Ivan straightened slightly in his seat, already bracing himself. He knew what was coming next. After all, a person doesn’t just release a rejection song without raising a few eyebrows.
“For those who don’t know,” she began, turning her attention to the camera, “MAPS is a heart-wrenching song about yearning and rejection!” She let the words linger, her dramatic delivery pulling the audience in, before turning back to Ivan with a glint of mischief in her eyes. “So, naturally, everyone has been dying to know—just who managed to break the Ivan’s heart?”
The room seemed to hold its breath, her question hanging in the air as Ivan’s smile faltered, just for a second. It wasn’t the first time he’d heard it, and it wouldn’t be the last.

Losing a life doesn't mean the body accepting death and letting fate take over. It means eyes lose interest in seeing the beauties of life. Hands lose the power to grasp everything once they used to do so well. Legs begging to stop moving, just laying in eternal silence as there is nothing else but the body that gave up on living way before.
Losing a life is when one loses faith and hope for living. And the ceremony is when the body agrees with the one in question. A farewell that is too late.
Or a tragedy that could've been avoided, with a solution so easy it's almost insulting.
Visions meant everything to one's life, often knowing their owner better than the owner oneself.
However, subconsciousness also had its place in this universe.
What was unexpected, however, was to see subconsciousness does not only control the way one behaves but also controls the Vision itself.To make the question clear: What if the Vision never meant to bring service and power to its owner?
= This book now has a prequel named "The Cliff - Oneshot" it is not a must but would make the experience a little more touching!

Diluc runs into Kaeya, delirious and severely injured by a rifthound in the woods of Wolvendom. Kaeya is in a pretty bad way and Diluc is unable to help much because of the corrupting nature of the injury. He’s going to have to wait and watch until the corrosion has run its course to tend to Kaeya or else neither of them will be strong enough to survive a night in the forest. But for Kaeya that might be too late.
