"Try anyhow?" Ereinion implored Elrond, softly, and he blessed his friend when Elrond did not question these orders, as if he thought it entirely worth his time and power to dote upon this old, near-dead thrall.

Summary
The whole room held its breath as Remus leaned up at the table and the innocent laughter vanished from his face at once, everyone could now see what Sirius saw, everyone was staring at the man they once thought to be their friend, their family. He turned to face Dumbledore and spoke, no louder than a whisper, but somehow still audible to everyone.
“You are a dead man, Albus Dumbledore.”
He disapparated, and left nothing but chaos behind. Even the oh so wise Dumbledore had nothing more to say.
Remus Lupin was a traitor, and there was nothing anyone could do about it anymore.Or: What if Remus never forgave Sirius for 'the prank'?
