Summary
After Blonde Blazer dumps Phenomaman, Robert spys him in the parking lot laying on a car, at the behest of Blazer, he goes to comfort him. However, Robert had drunkenly kissed Blazer and felt he needed to say something. Phenomaman, being the strange person he is, kisses Robert to ascertain if he caused the breakup. Robert shrugs it off, along with the fact he had been pelted by broken glass from the car the superhero was laying on, thinking his mission had been accomplished.
What Robert doesn't know, is that a certain bat-hybrid had been watching the whole scene from one of the breakroom windows. A certain half man-half bat, who starts to feel some... choice feelings about Robert.

Summary
Sonar is a straight man. Or at least that’s what he thought until Robert Robertson, the new Dispatcher, arrived. From that moment on, Sonar’s instincts began to spiral, craving that man like he’d never craved anything before. Robert's scent didn’t help one bit: it was laced with wet dust and ash. A scent of sadness, of depression.
It made him so protective that he would do anything for him. And that was a problem.

Everything had mostly gone back to normal. Shroud was defeated, the z-team were heroes, and the city of Torrance was almost completely repaired. Everything should have been great.

Summary
Robert starts at the SDN and meets Sonar. After the meeting, they meet in the bathroom, and Sonar pulls Robert into a kiss. Later, after the shift, Sonar comes up to apologize at Robert's cubicle, but gets pulled into a kiss. Oh, and they get together or whatevs. Robert wakes up early and decides to go to SDN early, masturbating in the shower a few hours before his shift.

Summary
There was a hope that it wouldn't be the same 'man' that had almost brought about the end of the Automaton Master legacy. Through the blur of adrenaline and pain, Robert hadn't stopped to commit much to memory in the way of faces, forgetting all but one.
Shackled and hobbled, with ears like that of a bat, and a muzzle that looked worn of fur, he had his head bowed under the weight of the steel collar around his neck. But the moment he entered the Jarl's palace, Robert could see his nose start to work, and slowly, he lifted his head and those blank, white eyes went from an angry, disinterested slit to that of a predator finding quarry.
He was looking directly at Robert, he was sure of it.
"For the record, prisoner, please state your name."
"Victor Langstorm, sir,"

Summary
All his life, there were only three words Sonar ever felt truly connected to.
The first was "knowledge". As a kid, he loved learning more than anything, and his parents noticed. They squeezed his brain dry until there was nothing left but numbers and pressure. They acted devastated when they later discovered he had used his precious accounting skills to track down the best drug prices. Oscar-worthy performances, really.
The second was "contacts". Everyone insisted that knowing the right people was the key to survival. He listened. He learned. He built networks that could get him anything. So why was he suddenly invested in the Z-Team, a group of nobodies with zero political value? Why did he care to know each of them beyond what they could offer?
The third was "rush". He lived off it: acing exams, screaming back at his father, drugs burning through his veins, running from the police. He thought he’d tasted every thrill imaginable. What he never expected was the new rush he felt for the powerless ex-hero at the dispatch office; depressed, quiet, annoyingly attractive, lonely in a way he recognized. It hit him like a drug he’d never tried before. And, for once, he didn’t want to let it go.

Summary
Robert Robertson isn’t ready.
He knew accepting the position as SDN’s newest dispatcher would mean holding the leash of some of the world’s most powerful criminals. Big responsibility and all that aside, it’s the sour attitudes really grinding him into the dirt.
Five months in, Blazer tells Robert he’s the frontman for a new reform project: The Deviant Variant Management Program, or DVMP. It’s the government’s latest attempt at containing altered supers, also called deviants, since locking them up or using “humane euthanasia” isn’t all that popular these days. Cue not one, but two deviants delivered to the Torrance Branch doorstep the very next day.
Robert really, really isn’t ready.

Robert felt Beef's weight in his lap, warm and safe. When he opened his eyes, Chase was there, only something was wrong. Chase's face grew more distressed when he saw that Robert had woken up.
"Kid, I... Fuck, you almost died there."
There was something Chase still hadn't told him, but he thought he'd notice soon. Something felt wrong with his body.
