Teaming up with the enigmatic Damian Wayne - Gotham Academy’s most mysterious student - she finds herself uncovering more than she bargained for. Together, they investigate the cruelty inflicted on the animals at the mini-farm, and in turn form an allyship of sorts. Or at least, that’s what Damian refers to it as.
Elena’s journalistic motivations lead her down a slippery slope into Gotham’s criminal underworld, riddled with mob families, corruption, and violence. What began as an investigation into the dark side of Gotham, turns into a journey of discovering her own twisted past.
