“Hey, little guy. Look at this. Do you think any of these people can help us?” He pulls up a projection of the log and holds the child up to see it. “Any ideas?”
The child looks at him and then back at the contacts, screwing up his face in an expression of concentration. He takes his time, and the man tries to be patient. Finally, the child stretches out a tiny hand and points to a log entry.
“Boba Fett,” the man reads. He pauses, to see if the name sounds familiar. It doesn’t. “Tatooine.”
Or, Din Djarin crashes his starship and only knows two things when he wakes up: One, that he never removes his helmet and two, that he would die to protect the child.

Commander Ponds whirls around at the sound of Mace’s step and bolts up to his feet. He begs Mace not to take Boba back to Kamino. He says that he’ll look after him. He’ll take responsibility.
With hands pressed together, he pleads for mercy for his brother. Mace tells him not to be ridiculous. Of course he isn’t taking Boba back to Kamino. He’s waiting, that’s all.
It is only fair to give everyone a second chance. Even Jango Fett.
(An AU where Mace Windu acquires and shares custody over a six-year-old Boba with Jango.)

The man in the tower just laughs, and the sound is as delightful as his singing had been.
“Oh, that’s very kind,” the prince says, his madder blue eyes twinkling. “But I’m quite alright, thank you. Have a good day.”

Luke and Leia. Kenobi remembers their names; he cradles them both as close to his chest as he can fit them and tells them that he is their uncle.
The children squirm and break away from him to tuck themselves into Cody’s ribs instead, one on each side. They don’t understand what has happened; they seem to think that this is some sort of assignment. A trip. A test.
They tuck themselves against Cody and ask him what is happening and where is Dad and when can they go home. They want to go home.
(AU where Vader keeps the twins and raises them while on Imperial fuckhead duty. The Rebellion steals them back, and Rex watches as they re-root themselves.)

This does not stop Fox from wanting to bang his head into his desk and keep it there because of all the superfluous paperwork when Thire shows up with a lost pet fox. And that's before a senator goes missing.

Starts off the process, lets an Omega know that there’s interest there.
And all the while, Omegas are intended to make themselves as attractive as possible - pamper themselves with makeup and facials and filed teeth, preen, and sit pretty for an Alpha to protect.
