Summary
Beard’s on his way back to his dorm room, where he plans to spend the rest of his night smoking copious amounts of weed, when his peripheral vision picks up someone in the student lounge. Ted Lasso is sitting alone on one of the couches reading a book, the room otherwise empty.
Or, a 5+1 fic wherein Beard and Ted save each other over their many years of friendship.

Summary
Rebecca came to Ted’s side, touching his shoulder. “The Sun has a picture of you and Trent. It is… unmistakably intimate.”
Ted’s brain flashed to two weeks ago when Trent had finally handcuffed him to the headboard. Had they left the blinds cracked by accident?
“I’m gonna need you to give me more context on that.”

Summary
Then the new gaffer calls his name from the door of the office, and it’s just fear and dread flooding in. Colin nods goodbye to Isaac, pulls his bag on, and heads over, relieved to be away from that conversation, but anxious. He hasn’t had a one-on-one with Coach Lasso yet.
Lasso’s smiling. He usually is, but it’s weird he’s doing that when Colin was so shit all training. That’s obviously why he’s been called over.
Or, Colin's journey through hate, shame and fear to love, forgiveness, and acceptance.

Summary
As a grease monkey turned college freshman, Dean's constantly three seconds away from being stressed out of his mind. It hardly helps that he's finally figuring out his sexuality in his thirties.
What might help with that stress is a little phone number (and a big credit card bill). If he can't figure out how to be bisexual in person, he can at least give it a go over the phone, right?
(It's probably a bad idea, but he really can't help himself.)

Summary
Ted Lasso was the kind of man who taught NSYNC choreography for a going away party and bent his players into impossible positions just to say “Hi, Boss!” in the morning. He’d organized fearsome bets over darts, baked heavenly biscuits on the regular, and had requested at least two boxes from Nate Shelley’s niece, one of which still sat on a shelf in his office, despite the betrayal. Ted was also a passionate believer in what he referred to as “rom-communism,” all the trappings included.
In retrospect, Trent should have known he’d go all out for Valentine’s Day.

Summary
She could find someone, a more genuine date, she knows she could, but it'd be an unknown, a variable too out of her control. Something she's had a frighteningly tenuous grasp on lately as it is. She'd rather spend the money, have someone who knows what they're doing, and knows what she wants.
A professional.
Hence, the headshots on her laptop. Terrible fucking idea.
She huffs in frustration, in indignation, in indecision. She sets her wine down to slam the thing closed in righteous anger but her hand freezes on the top of the laptop.
It's the mustache that catches her eye.

Summary
“Got any other plans for relaxing tonight?” It was somewhat hard to tell with the water running, but there might be some other mischief in his tone. She’d gotten better at hearing these subtle clues.
“Thinking about pulling out one of those toys you left with me last weekend.” Rebecca had been dying to take a crack at them again, but today was the first day she’d felt ready to take on another climax after having so many wrung out of her last weekend. The toys had been sitting in her nightstand drawer waiting ever since then.
“Oh, I see, I see.” There was a long pause, and Rebecca shut off the water and grabbed her towel. She could practically hear him thinking from his end of the phone as she dried off, and then he finally broke the silence. “Do you wanna ask my permission?”
---Ted and Rebecca take some new steps with their dynamic.

Summary
Ted Lasso hands her his resignation--this time on typed, neat letterhead with this loopy signature scrawled at the bottom--along with the unsigned offer for a contact extension she'd sent him last week and the recipe for the biscuits he brings her every morning.
"It's not that I don't appreciate the offer," he says, voice thick with emotion and eyes glassy. "But I've got a little boy counting on me back home and--"
"No, no, don't be silly. I should have known."
(Or, Ted doesn't extend his contract with AFC Richmond and Rebecca learns to let go.)

Jaime looked back at Robb with rage blazing through him and said, low and utterly flat, “The next time I see you, Stark, I’ll kill you.”
“The next time I see you, Ser Jaime,” Robb said, “if you ask nicely, I’ll do it again.”

Summary
“There has to be something,” Trent muttered, furiously scrolling through his feed. Each suggestion he found was debunked by the next post, with many parents swearing up and down that certain techniques made the whole thing worse. Trent stopped on a video of a mother taking scissors to her daughter’s curls and bit down on an actual sob building in the back of his throat.
It was right before Trent let it fly that his mobile rang.
Coach Ted Lasso (from America).
Trent couldn’t say what possessed him to answer with his throat thick and his eyes prickling, but his traitorous hand had already swiped while his mouth said, “I have to shave my head.”
Or: 5 times Ted got to touch Trent's hair and one time he returned the favor.

I can assure you that my transfer has nothing to do with your club's relegation, nor is there anything that Richmond has done in error. Rather, I have spoken with my editors and we’ve agreed that this is the most appropriate course of action.
I wish you all the best in the season.

Ted is a preacher who moves to a small rural Kansas town to take over his father’s Church after he kills himself, with no note and no discernible reason.
Upon moving back, he fast becomes aware that there are sinister forces at large, darkness that he has only read about in pages of the Bible.
Ted will never be the same man he was ever again, but how far will these forces take him into sin? How far will he go to find out what killed his father?Bookmarked by enumchase

Summary
Still sitting staring at the lifts Trent fights the contradictory emotions of curiosity and concern. He is a journalist and there could be a story here somewhere but more than that he’s worried about Ted, clearly upset while his colleagues and friends carry on their night without him. It takes Trent another 15 minutes to come to a decision; he would hate for Ted to be alone when he needed someone and if Ted’s fine, needs his space, he can always claim he’s after another quote on the game.

Trent goes to Ted's hotel room after the Everton match and everything that plays out from there.

Summary
It is ridiculous to cross the glacier like this—a disgraced journalist with nothing but his pride and an optimistic offworlder with a duffel and a smile, plunging into the freezing night—ridiculous, and foolhardy, and probably deadly to them both. But, Trent muses, as Ted catches up to him and they press on together toward the lightless slope of the glacier, it’s also the one route nobody would think to follow.
