Yeonjun the extravagant star athlete, model student who everyone either wanted to be or be with, who harbored more secrets that he could afford.One fine day they both start their jobs at their parents' respective businesses only to find out that they worked in shops...right next to each other?
What happens when they are unintentionally pushed to be close, to develop feelings however everyone who knew about their rivalry wanted to keep them apart from each other for their own good?I am awful at summaries and English is not my first language, I apologize prior for any mistakes!

Summary
There was this thing that happened, every now and then. On occasion, the constant, ever-evolving whirring in Taehyun’s brain would come to a halt, and his thoughts dissipated into nothingness. A factory reset, of a sort. It left him unable to do anything except freeze in place, and tended to happen only in moments of true panic, which were very rare for him.
That was the state he found himself in now, unmoving, unblinking, unable to think or react beyond the widening of his eyes.
Kai continued watching him carefully. “It’s not risky if it’s you.”

Yeonjun was his phantom pain, a cold brilliant star intent on burning through the earth's very core, and condemning Soobin down to Hell at the bottom by his side. And rather than run from his destruction, Soobin stared into the abyss and wondered- how much could it hurt to fall so far?

I might, yeah, Yeonjun replies, and ponders upon it for a second. Will you get jealous?
Yeonjun is giving mixed signals; he knows. But who cares if Soobin is jealous, right? They had sex once, and that was it. He’s not hiding his promiscuity, and the fact that he’s trying to get Soobin’s hand on his stupid dick again, but his head still spins when Soobin’s reply lands: Do you want me to?
Does Yeonjun want him to? He’s afraid to find out the answer. Yeonjun stares at the screen and muses on a coherent reply, but he’ll soon forget, because Soobin sends an attachment. It’s a meme of a cat biting the hand of a guy playing video games. GIVE ME ATTENTION, the text underneath the meme reads, in a bold, thin San-serif font. You, Soobin says. Yeonjun is trying very hard not to smile.

Soobin gave up on a future with a soulmate when he became an idol. He never expected to get a soulmark — and then he did.

“Soobin-hyung’s drunk,” Taehyun said. He looked around before leaning forward, as if going to tell some deep-rooted secret. “He scented you.”
Yeonjun frowned deeply. “I don’t know what that means.”
“You don’t know?” Taehyun shook his head. “Scenting is like—”
Taehyun’s mouth snapped shut when he saw Soobin returning.

Yeonjun's only now realizing he's been mixing up his priorities; he needs to do things right, and he also needs a break. The constant grayness clouding the city's been fogging his mind as well, and he feels like his lungs haven’t caught a breath of fresh air for too long.
With a last hug to Taehyun and Beomgyu and some ‘you better call at least every week’ exchanged, Eunjoo buckles up, and they start on the long way leading to Yeonjun's parents' place, back to his hometown.

When it gets too hard, Yeonjun decides to move back to the town of his childhood. While he struggles to connect with his daughter, he doesn't expect to find a familiar man there, who seems to do just that so easily. He doesn't sound exactly thrilled by Yeonjun's return, though.

The man in question gives him a look. “I can hear your kid screaming from outside.”
Yeonjun’s chest aches a little, but he tries not to let it show, instead opting for a more annoyed reaction.
“Sorry,” he starts, a bit miffed, “I’ve only had her for two weeks, she wasn’t really planned, was she?”
A small smile crawls up the sides of Soobin face, and Yeonjun berates the loser side of him that’s embarrassingly charmed.
