Thomas’ gaze drifted to the mirror over the sink. The mirror was a patchwork of cracked shards, the imperfections distorting their reflections into an abstract mosaic. Thomas traced a finger along the fragmented surface.
Their eyes met in the mirror but Newt said nothing, didn't explain what had caused it to look like this.
“It’s just like you,” Thomas said, the words slipping out before he could stop them. Beautiful, he meant to say. “A puzzle,” he said instead.
Newt raised an eyebrow, confusion etched across his face. “A puzzle?”
“Yeah,” Thomas continued, trying to make sense of his own words. “Like it’s made up of so many pieces, each one reflecting just a tiny part of you. Only together do they make the whole picture.”
or: Dance of The Vampires is selected their school's annual Halloween play that year and when Teresa lands one of the leading roles, Thomas, of course, agrees to practice with her, but then everything turns out a little differently and suddenly he finds himself playing Sarah instead. Also somewhere between learning that first impressions can be deceiving and figuring out his own sexuality, he might fall in love with Newt.

Felix grinned, his cheek rubbing against Chan’s shoulder as he nodded his head. “And we can always scent you to mix your scent up— make you smell more like pack.”
Minho nodded in agreement. "Just because you’re human doesn’t mean you can’t be pack.”
And that was the crux of the problem, wasn’t it?
Chan wasn’t human.
OR
Chan is a vampire but that's a secret he's willing to take to his grave. Too bad his new dormmates aren't so easily fooled and will stop at nothing to make sure that Chan is taking care of himself. Even if they have to do it themselves.

“Join Jisung and I tonight,” Seungmin murmurs, in an uncharacteristically soft tone, as if he were cradling Minho close to his chest as he does Felix or Jisung, speaking to him as if he were someone precious and not just the king’s burden to bear. It hurts when Minho knows it’s just his imagination. “We can talk more then.”
“Are you sure?” Minho asks, clenching his fist behind his back tight enough to feel his nails dig into his palm.
Seungmin clenches and unclenches his fists at his sides. “Why wouldn't I be?”
I am your cross to bear. I am a nail in your coffin. I am the thorn in your side. I am. I am. I am.
“Nevermind,” Minho shakes his head and turns to Seungmin, bowing once more. He thinks his nails have broken skin. “See you tonight, then.”

crying, sobbing, and irrevocably in love with this story. the past memories help the story flow so well and give just enough info to make the present day scenes hit so much deeper. instead of a song, this is a story I could read all over again. the playlist added to the entire story and I could see each song perfectly fitting into each scene. I LOVE THIS STORY I WILL NEVER BE THE SAME EVERY AGAIN😭!!!!!!
