When Katsuki believes the lies he's told about Deku cheating on him, he faces the consequences of that choice and the behaviour he exhibits as a result of it. Izuku finds himself being supported by Kaminari and Shinsou, who both have a romantic interest in him. Despite the pain of the situation, it helps them both to grow as people.
After a tense second, Katsuki blows his phone up and turns to the manipulative bastard he previously called a friend.
"You lied, Kirishima," he states calmly. Kirishima read over Katsuki's shoulder; his face is pale with the realisation that he's been found out, and Katsuki relishes the fear in his eyes.
He should be afraid of the consequences of his traitorous actions.
