“Don’t try to fight me, Knock. It never works.” Mymo hummed, lifting his jaw with more force than necessary. Gountess’s dark eyes were bloodshot, most likely from sheer exhaustion. For a split second, they gleamed.
“It won’t work in the long run, either. You can try to overrule me all you want! That’s exactly what makes it so entertaining. This arrangement we have—you’re like a pet,” He continued, eyes narrowing. “An asset is what you are, and I make sure to use every aspect of the assets I have within reach.”

Mercutio had died but two hours ago. Honestly, Romeo doesn’t want to think about it. He doesn’t want to think about how his friend died in his arms. The way he cradled him. He especially doesn’t want to think about his skin. How he felt. Warm. His stomach churns at the mere mention of Mercutio. A disgusting, disgraceful creature. One that he had held dear until the very end.
The aftermath of a canon divergent act 3 scene 1 in which Tybalt is stabbed to death and Romeo is fatally shot, bleeding out in secret over the course of one night. In short, an alternate ending loosely based on the 1996 film.
