Bored out of her mind and left alone as Vox and Valentino had already retired for the night, she had fished through some of the stacks of movies lined up on the shelves, finding a hidden gem of a tape she didn't recognize ever seeing before. Etched on the label was the names of her two best friends and business partners, so she just had to know what it contained.
Planning on quelling her boredom by watching what she assumes is just a fun, harmless video of Vox and Valentino from the past, Velvette is rudely awakened to the fact that she was horribly mistaken about what that tape actually contained.
Or: Velvette accidently stumbles upon Vox and Valentino's sex tape.

Valentino scans through the camera feeds but doesn’t see Vox in any of his offices or Velvette’s studio or in the hallways berating his employees. So that leaves one place for Vox to be: in his dingy voyeur lair, the singular location in the tower Val can’t access through Vox’s extensive surveillance system.
He swipes his new beverage from the tray Kitty holds aloft without shifting his gaze from the monitors. “Looks like Voxxy needs a reminder of who he should have his eyes on.”
This isn’t the first time Vox has pissed him off and it certainly won’t be the last. When Vox gets distracted like this, all Valentino has to do to help get his priorities back in order is fuck with him a little, and then, fuck him. It’s simple, really—Valentino in his big, sexy glory is hard to ignore.
Vox is flaking on their plans for the night, so Valentino seeks him out.

Valentino stared up at him, gaze blank. He couldn’t speak now, but that was fine. Vox just needed to look at him, to see that he was breathing, to hold his hand and feel that slow, steady pulse underneath all of the bandages.
He didn’t mean to. He never meant to. If he knew what was going to happen, he would’ve never done it, and that meant something. It had to, because he was trying, and it was working, Valentino was still alive and that was all that mattered.
