Since you don’t have any parental alpha-figure in your life…” here Hill stopped, throwing Peter an apologetic smile, commiserating in his loss. “We need someone else to step into that role. In the public eye, you need to be ‘controlled’.”
May threw her hands into the air. “Really? Is this the best S.H.I.E.L.D can come up with?"
“It is not an ideal situation” Pepper said, voice tired but soft, trying to console. “This is not about saving the world, it’s about saving an image. Spiderman is too important to be lost to bad reputation. Peter is too important.”
Peter swallowed, having a clue of where this was going. “So you want me to find a mate? An alpha?”
He had MJ. He loved her. They had sorted their shit out and they were finally together. But she was a beta. A beta was not enough, not in a situation like this.
“Who…” he started before his voice broke and he had to try again. “Who do you have in mind?”

Peter doesn't mean to listen in on Mr. Stark's calls with his mysterious 'mechanic friend,' but he has super-hearing, and it's hard not to hear the cussing from three doors down. When Tony invites him to town, Peter meets Harley, and yeah, things get out of control fast.
Harley is overly confident, incredibly attractive, and hiding something from everyone, including Tony. Peter intends to find out what and no, that's totally not just an excuse to spend more time around him.
OR the one where Peter might be a little obsessed with a certain friend of Tony's and Harley talks alot. He talks over the phone and while working and even while his hand is down Peter's pants. Not that that would ever happen. Obviously.

Stroking Harley’s cheek tenderly, so tenderly, Peter says, “Fuck that. You’re worth all the gold in the world. No, more. All the gold in the sun.”
“Sun’s got gold?”
“2.5 trillion tons of it,” Peter tells him.
“I hate that your family is so great,” Harley chokes.
Because Peter has people to fall apart into. Peter’s got trillions of people who think he deserves all that gold and more. Harley carries a trail of people who think he doesn’t deserve shit. How’s he supposed to live with all that?
Because there’s a scar on Harley’s arm, not huge, but white and raised and in the jagged circle shape of a broken bottle. And Peter’s never asked him about it.
Because he thinks, even if Peter had asked, he wouldn’t have said.---
Thanksgiving with the Starks goes awry and resurfaces Harley's old trauma.

Peter Parker never considered himself special. Maybe, yeah, having radioactive blood and spider-like abilities makes him different and his vigilante career is out of the norm and fine, yeah, he's on the autism spectrum. Call that "special" if you want. But under all that, he's a regular college student juggling three jobs, an internship, a sad mockery of a social life, and saving the city day and night. The usual stuff.
So when he somehow catches the eye of a casually gorgeous country boy with an accent that could turn even Aunt May's brick-hard mashed potatoes to mush, he's only thrown for a minute before he writes it off as a fluke. What could a guy like that see in a guy like him anyway?

Posters of Star Wars were dotted around and there were multiple LEGO sets littered on the floor. Clothes were left lying around, some thrown on the back of the chair and some on the carpet. There was a collection of paper and books on the wooden desk, each large volume for a different school subject.
All in all, Steve would’ve said that the room belonged to a kid. The obvious youth that dominated the area confused Steve as he walked into the room further.
A loud blaring sound echoed into Steve’s ear, FRIDAY’s dominating voice cutting into the air. “You are not permitted to enter this room Captain Rogers.”
Steve jumped out of the room like the floor was on fire, his confusion only growing. “Whose room is that FRIDAY?”
“Boss has not permitted me to answer that question.”
Was Tony hiding a secret kid?
The Rogue Avengers have been pardoned, returning home for the first time after a year and a half on the run. Steve expects for things to be the same as how he left but it seems that everything has changed. Apparently Tony now had a kid.
