Summary
Mira is Grace Augustine’s daughter, born on Pandora to an unknown father, a Na’vi language scientist who died before her birth. Raised by Grace, she receives an avatar body and, at 16 (2147), joins the Na’vi school, befriending Sylwanin and Neytiri while initially facing Tsu’tey’s distrust. As they grow closer, Tsu’tey struggles between duty and love, until his trust shatters when the shooting happens. He blames Grace and Mira for Sylwanin’s death.
Tsu’tey is 24 when Jake arrives. Although Mira Augustine knows more about Na’vi culture than Jake, having grown up studying at Grace’s school, she ends up being chased through the woods by a thanator and gets separated from him. This is when she encounters Tsu’tey, and he needs to teach her to See….

Who are you!” The words the man shoved out his throat broke Jake out of his trance, blinking his eyes up to meet the other’s bright, anger filled yellow eyes. Although Jake swears there was a hint of a sly smirk on the stranger’s face, as if he caught Jake checking him down. The fact that the Na’vi man even knew English shocked him even further, however he did have a bit of a heavy accent. He doesn’t have much time to ponder on if this man was one of the students Grace had taught, as he was in a dire life or death situation.
“Jake!” He forced the words out of his lips in a thin breath of air, his eyebrows slanting upwards in a mixture of irritation and fear from watching the stranger reach down for his knife in his left side pouch. “My name is Jake— uh, Jake Sully.” The feeling of the ends of his braid touching his back forced him to remember he’s not in his right body, and in fact on Pandora.

“Morning, sunshine! Did you get enough beauty sleep?” comes an amused voice.
Jake can’t quite place the voice and forces himself to open his eyes.
At first everything is blurry and bright and colored blobs, but after a few blinks he can see things coming into focus.
And the first thing he sees is a hell of a lot of blue people standing over him.
His confusion must be evident on his face, because the tallest one leans in closer to him. “You don’t remember us, sweetheart? Kinda hurts my feelings.”
Jake stares for a beat.
Then two.
“Colonel?” Jake finally says in absolute disbelief.

Summary
This is a purely self-indulgent canon rewrite of basically what I wish would have happened. For the most part it will follow canon if Jake were a little less of a skxawng.
Jake Sully had never felt less in control of his life than when he arrived on Pandora. Everything that had led him to this point was just some terrible blur and he was so *tired* of horrible things happening. Somehow, by some boon from the universe, he finds light again in a community of blue cat aliens. But fortunately Jake Sully has always been good at rolling with the punches and he will do anything to keep his slice of found peace safe. -

Summary
The AU where both Sully brothers end up on Pandora, but the rules of biology and society aren't the same for everyone. The Na'vi have secondary genders, and because Avatars are grown on Na'vi DNA, Avatars do too. Humans don't.
Jake has no context for any of it.
And then it gets worse: a Na'vi warrior mistakes Jake for his twin brother. So he ends up trapped in the middle of a strange community, while the one person who could clear it up isn't there to do it.

Two weeks.
Lo’ak spent two weeks thinking. About the feeling of cold metal under his chin. The feeling of leaving something incomplete.
During those two weeks he’d started carving, sat next to the glow of the fire long after everyone had gone to sleep, steadying his hands the way he’d desperately tried to after Neteyam’s death. Two pieces - one for his dad and one for his mom. He wanted them to see him not as the reckless, wild son he’d been, but rather the neat, beautiful carving he would leave them with. It brought him relief, knowing that’s how he could be remembered once they’d weaved it onto their songcord like he’d intended.
Lo’ak always planned to leave, Aonung and his parents won’t have it. Payakan won’t either.
