Summary
If someone had asked Regulus Black what his biggest regret was, he would be caught between letting Sirius leave him behind in Grimmauld Place or becoming a member of a fanatical pureblood supremacist cult.
He had thought perhaps one day he could fix all of the words unsaid and apologies not yet given. But walking into a cave and drowning put a damper on that.
Until fate aligns and he finds himself back in 1975, the night that Sirius had run away and been blasted off the tapestry by Regulus' own wand. The night when everything had begun to tear at the seams, when Walburga and Orion Black had sold the spare to the Cause, a poor replacement for what the Dark Lord had been promised.
Regulus has to decide if he's willing to regret losing his brother all over again or else draw the wrath of both the Death Eaters and the House of Black.

They’re going to kill him.
Time slows as Wheeler adjusts her aim. She tilts her head, a singular eye closing, and Eddie does the only thing he can think of.
He steps in front.
A shot reverberates through the clearing, and he flinches. Nobody breathes. You could cut the quiet with a fucking butterknife. Eddie releases a shuddering breath and pats down his chest, hands shaking so bad that he probably wouldn’t feel it even if he were hit. He falls to his knees when they come back clean.
Nancy stands there, gun jerked high with wide eyes. She pants, swallowing thickly before fury breaks her calm. “Eddie?! What the hell are you doing-!”
“IT’S STEVE!!” Eddie shouts. His arms shake as the Demowolf bleeds sluggishly behind him. “IT’S STEVE! IT’S STEVE GODDAMN'T!!”

Summary
AU where Robert has powers his dad forced him to suppress in his youth. Upon stepping into the role of Mecha Man Blue, Robert runs himself into the ground physically, mentally, and financially to uphold his family’s legacy. It’s what he was born and raised for, after all. He can’t afford to fuck it up. He’s nothing outside of it. His dad was so keen on drilling that into his head.
…with that kind of pressure on him, is it any wonder he starts to act out? It really shouldn’t be surprising that he needs to let off some steam, some charge, so he doesn’t lose his cool doing real hero work. Call him a hypocrite. Call him a supervillain in a hero’s suit. Robert’s long since past the point of caring.
It’s just a shame he’s working so closely with people who know the hallmarks of a real villain a lot better than he would like them to. He’ll have to keep his work and his fun separate, for the team’s sake if nothing else. They mean a lot to him. He genuinely wants to help them succeed in their redemption arcs.
But he has no intention of stopping. Not when he’s finally back in his prime.
