Summary
Spring has returned to Mondstadt, which means its time for the annual Windblume Festival! Without Cyno, Tighnari or the Twins, Collei and Freminet embark on the long journey from Sumeru to Mondstadt completely on their own.
As tradition goes, each participant of the festival is allowed to gift Windblumes to the Anemo Archon as well as the ones that they love and adore the most. This can be a sign of friendship, of great respect, brotherhood, or even love.
Collei wishes to give her Windblume to Freminet as a sign of their love and to celebrate their one year anniversary.
Freminet is elated to be apart of this tradition, and meet Collei's friends, but he feels overwhelmingly homesick. He loves Collei but he's worried that he'll ruin the whole festival for her.
Well, who better than the Cavalry Captain to take this nervous penguin under his wing?

Mira’s thumb stilled on the screen. She looked up, slow. “…What?”
Zoey’s hands twisted in her lap. “Like—not open relationships. Just… not just one person. Have you ever thought about being with more than one person and it still being okay?”
She wasn’t looking at Mira. Her voice was tight, like it hurt to speak. Mira watched her with a furrowed brow, still quiet.
“I feel so guilty all the time. Because I love you, Mira. I love you, and this doesn’t change that, but I see her and I want to make her smile and I want her to hold my hand and I think she’s beautiful and weird and sweet and I—”
She finally looked up, tears shining in her eyes.
“I think I ruined us. And I’m so sorry.”
Mira just stared at her. Wide-eyed. Silent.
Zoey’s heart dropped. “Say something.”
Mira exhaled like she’d been holding her breath for a month.
Then she visibly deflated—shoulders dropping, head tilting back against the wall—and let out a quiet, choked laugh.
“…Oh thank god.”

Zoey sat still on the too-tall chair, her legs numb, fingers twisted into the hem of her dress until her knuckles went white. No one asked how she was. No one asked what she wanted. She just sat there. Listening. Absorbing.
Her mother was yelling again. Her father was laughing in that fake, sharp way that meant he was angry and trying to pretend he wasn’t. The judge looked tired. The lawyers looked bored. Everyone had folders and coffee. Everyone had opinions.

“In here?” Aglaea asked softly as she pointed to it. Castorice nodded. She felt something in her chest swell, Castorice's presence— or perhaps it was the way she looked at Aglaea, emboldened her to crouch down and move through it.
“So the president does have a rebellious side,” Castorice mumbled as she followed behind.
“Whatever gave you the idea that I was a goodie two shoes?” Aglaea asked, unable to hold back the laughter escaping her.
“You’re the president, you do official business things and make things happen. I didn’t think you’d have the space to follow the rules and break them,” Castorice argued, guarded exterior melting away with each word spoken.
“I’ll have you know, many of the motions I’ve passed were done so due to my... manoeuvring, not my rules following.”
