Summary
What mattered most was that Blitz had Stolas in his life. Safe, taken care of, as happy as he could be. The Octavia thing was still an upsetting mess, one that could ruin the owl’s day if Blitz didn’t take care to steer wide around it, but they’d figure out a plan eventually.
Forget the what-if’s. Forget wanting dumb things he didn’t deserve. For now, he was living in the moment and feeling really good.
And that should have been his first clue that something Extremely Fucked Up was about to happen.

Six months after Stolas sacrificed everything, Blitz has resigned himself to letting the bird go off towards a new happily ever after (and never becoming more than friends again, despite his own tightly locked down feelings). But that plan goes completely off the rails when Stolas falls victim to a dangerous, never-ending curse and Blitz must untangle his own internal mess of self-worth, vulnerability, and love in order to save him.

That young Skywalker is known around town as a widower and homesteader; a Nabooian who emigrated to avoid the trade blockade; a father of overly-energetic twins and warding a Togruta war orphan; a decent mechanic if your farm equipment or maintenance droid is acting up.

"Rey Skywalker?" There's a vaguely sardonic twist to the corner of his mouth. "Does that make you my cousin now?"
"It seemed like a fitting tribute," she says in wooden tones. Be it dream or vision, she might as well play along— draw this out until reality comes crashing back. Who knows when he'll come to her again as solid and as vibrant as this?
"I see." Suddenly he's leaning into her, their faces so close together. "Tell me," he murmurs, his lips almost brushing against hers, "have you ever heard of the term kissing cousins?"
She registers the smell of alcohol on his breath at the same time that his eyes flutter shut and he slumps face-down into her lap, snoring softly. You're alive, is all she can think at first, staring down at his head of lush black hair.
Ben Solo is alive.

IMP never succeeded. Instead, Blitz has joined a rebellion. Their target: Prince Stolas of the Ars Goetia and his mystical Grimoire. Blitz doesn't know why the Rebellion needs Stolas, he doesn't know why he's been asked to take the prince from the palace.
He also doesn't ask.
Unfortunately, the prince is not what Blitz expects. The rebels' motives are questionable. There's more at play here and Blitz knows it. When Blitz is tasked with keeping the prince safe from Rebels and Goetia alike, he can't help but feel something for Stolas.
It makes him question everything he's ever known about the Rebellion. About the Goetia.
And now he has to decide what's more important: his dreams of a new world, or a prince that has wormed his way into Blitz's heart.
