Both paladins turned to their new, small alien companion. She lifted her head to look at each of them in turn, her eyes round. Keith laid a gentle hand on her shoulder.
“How about you, Zola?” he said. “Are you ready to go?”
She didn’t answer right away. Then she hesitantly asked, “Where are we going?”
As he made eye contact with Lance over her head, Keith could have sworn he felt something electric in the air: a simultaneous resurgence of determination.
“We’re going to take you home.”
Keith and Lance rescue a little alien girl from a hostage situation and bring her home ... and learn a few things about themselves and each other along the way.

Summary
When Lance crashed the Red Lion after a pitched battle with a Galra fleet, the last place he expected to wake up was in a cell on a Galra ship under the command of one Prince Lotor. He expected even less for the Prince to be strangely welcoming, to treat him as if he was a guest on his vessel and not an enemy combatant seized as a prisoner of war.
Lotor is charming, Lance is willing to admit that—and his unique working relationship with his four generals reminds Lance more than he’d like of his own team. The longer he spends with Lotor, the more he likes him - and the more he feels like while he might’ve been the seventh wheel with Voltron, he could have a real, genuine place here.
Meanwhile, Lotor finds himself far more interested in Lance himself than he intended. This was all supposed to be a game, to lure one of the Paladins away from the fold and learn all he could about Voltron, but it is rapidly becoming so much more. As the forces of the Empire and Voltron’s growing coalition begin to circle, Lotor and Lance will both have to make some very difficult choices about where, exactly, their loyalties lie.

Summary
Three years after the fall of the Galra Empire, Lance McClain—up-and-coming solo artist and former Paladin of Voltron—accidentally posts a breakup song on Valentine's day. Instead of removing it, Lance starts posting more covers of love songs, all ostensibly for "You", the mysterious character who had broken Lance's heart.
What the galaxy doesn't know is that "You" is just as in love with Lance as Lance is with him.
Or, Lance sings breakup songs and posts them online to cope with the heartbreak of Keith leaving him again for the Blade. Keith is guilty, and also very much in love.

Summary
Lance gets injured protecting Keith leading to another bonding moment, but when Lance wakes up Keith is mad at him. Lance can’t figure out why Keith is angry, he thought they were starting to get along or were at least better than you could die and I wouldn’t care.
Keith is upset, because he can’t keep watching Lance get hurt. Because if he keeps being reckless he might actually die and Keith doesn’t know what he would do with himself if Lance did die.
