As the car drove along, John stared out the window. Memories were hitting him in quick succession, recognizing places he hadn’t seen in years. For some reason, his mind got stuck on what it was like to arrive there for the first time, the air crisp on an early fall morning. He remembered the coolness of the light breeze, how it was comforting against his too hot skin. He’d always felt so hot back then even though his body temperature was probably the same, or even lower, than it currently was. But he hadn’t grown into his mutation then, hadn’t had any control over it either, and the fact that he’d never burned the whole place down still surprised him.
or: John was arrested at Alcatraz, but the X-Men stepped in and convinced a judge to let him serve out his sentence under house arrest at the mansion. But as John starts to talk to everyone at the mansion, it becomes clear that something bigger is at work.

Shortly after Mizuki escapes from prison, Iruka vanishes from his apartment, and Kakashi is assigned to lead a search team that brings the missing sensei home. After returning to Konoha, Iruka is placed under a protective watch while he recovers— one that Kakashi has no business volunteering for, hardly knowing the sensei, and being far above the skill level necessary to guard someone from a single escaped convict.
Then again, Kakashi’s never been particularly predictable.

Down to the remaining eleven rebels in the country of Japan, all seems lost. Then Deku, leader of the last rebel faction, is given the chance to start over. A civilian with a time travel quirk has offered his services, and it is an opportunity that none of them can refuse. The chance to save their friends and families and loved ones is a chance that's worth the risks and the expectations. Even if it means having to disappear when in the past, these last heroes will do whatever it takes, with Deku leading the charge.
Starting over from square one shouldn't be too difficult, despite the laundry list of actions to be taken.

Summary
This was for a prompt challenge to write a piece for Brassius/Hassel in one hour at the designated time using the provided prompts. My prompt was “favorite”. Feel free to read.
When I wrote ideas for this, I originally planned to write it with Brassius’s list, but I decided instead to flip the script and use that original list to explain Hassel’s favorite things about Brassius. So for everything Hassel loves, you’ll notice it’s also Brassius’s favorite thing too.
I don’t typically write in this format where a character reflects with very little action going on (because I’m afraid it’s too boring for the reader), but since it fit the prompt so well, I thought I’d try it out for this time.
In this piece, Brassius makes a list of his favorite things about Hassel in case anyone asks. It’s early enough in their relationship that Hassel decides he should do the same and list his favorite things about his love too. They are an established couple at this point and have been dating for a little while.
