In a voice much softer, eyes cast low, he says, "It means, when a guy tells another guy that they’re gay, it’s often because… Jesus fucking Christ." He sighs, rubs his hand over his jeans, swallows. "I’m into you. That’s all."

Summary
Eddie has never been hurt before, in the dreams, except for when he was bones and the muscle and blood thing, but he’s hurt now. He’s shirtless this time, and he’s got on black pants and white sneakers--Steve wonders why Eddie gets shoes but not a shirt--and he’s got a long slash right down his ribs, like something with very sharp nails tried to slice him in half.
“Hey, Harrington,” Eddie says, his voice low and rough. “Thought you might be bad news coming through that door, but shit, I’m glad to see you.”

Steve dreams of Eddie with ease. Even remaking him for the real world isn't so hard. It's keeping him here, and the promise of a challenge, that's turning out to be the problem.

Summary
Steve has always been alone. More of a curse in his mind than something that just happened to him, misfortune given to the boy with everything. Even now, with a group of misfits to call his own he can't bring himself to feel like he deserves them. Not after how he used to be, right? Like the nightmares that keep him up at night the very thought plagues his bones, an old ache in his joints.
Eddie has always been proud of who he is, always proud of the people he can call his own. He did that, he made that. But then his whole world belief is wiped out from beneath his feet, and he has to start all over again. But this time a fake history is placed on his name, crimes from another. His fear prevents him from rest, keeps him running.
When their problems intermix will they be able to solve it? Or will they need each other's help?
So much can happen when brought together by a world determined to pull you apart.

Steve Harrington never planned for Eddie Munson.
Steve was supposed to marry his high school sweetheart, have 2.5 children, and take over the family business. He was supposed to live a blissful life on a nondescript cul-de-sac, complete with a white picket fence and a closet full of tasteful polo shirts. He was supposed to make a graceful transition between being the golden boy and being the American Dream.
Mediocrity was what destiny had designed for Steve. Reality had other plans.
