Summary
Four years after Will Byers' death, and more than a year into Hawkins' quarantine, the Party encounters a new entity in the Upside Down, hellbent on keeping them out and protecting his master, Vecna. Dubbed Kas the Bloody-handed by the Party, he takes a special interest in Mike of all people, invading his dreams nearly every night for his own twisted amusement-at least, that's what he'd have Mike believe.
And the more Mike gets to know Kas, and about the darkness in his past, the more he starts to question whether the lines between friend, lover, and enemy are as clear cut as he thought they were.
