Summary
Giopara curses about an ache running down his back and throws the towel first, sliding over a meager list of page numbers and bite-sized lead citations that could, theoretically, turn out useful down the line. Says he'll nap until maybe he feels better. It’s fine. Viktor wishes him goodnight like a second nature, without any pretense or further thought.
He supposes there was a break between actions — there probably was, however small — but it almost doesn't matter, since the next thing registered in his memory is the feeling of Jayce's fingers treading his hair, the fact that he leans in close, and the kiss brushed at the side of his cheek.
Jayce says 'You too.' and leaves. Viktor swears he can hear the crook of his smile.
This is significant, because they're not yet at the stage where they do the kissing thing very often.

“Worse than last time?” Jayce posits a guess.
“It’s, eh-” Viktor shrugs. Tilts his chin this way and that. A tsk. “Bearable. I’ve endured worse hangovers in college.” he was going for a laugh, but the punchline never truly lands. Instead, Jayce’s thumb rubs softly into the back of his palm, pressing like he wants to idle the muscle mass into something new. It’s such a small thing, whatever this is, and yet it steadies the flow of his blood; the relief of loosening a valve, flicking off a pressure switch. It’s the necessary cracking-open of his breast. Jayce squeezes. Viktor allows himself the luxury of a sigh. “You shouldn’t be here.” he mutters.
Jayce reflexively shakes his head. “I took the day off.”
“We both know that’s-”
“—I could take the week.” he insists, almost a threat, a flicker of that eternal stubbornness coursing through him.

Viktor longs for a soft place in which to bury his teeth.

In which child-Viktor refuses to abandon Silco; an act of devotion that changes the trajectory of Zaun's uprising. While Vander negotiates with Enforcers, Silco single-parents a revolution in the dark. Someone has to fund his son's endless charity work and vaccinate zaunish kids.
There's siblings-of-divorce, waverider eggs, volatile crystals...and a Piltie wandering around the Lanes looking for blue gems and a ghost.

Viktor doesn’t respond. He’s a little stunned. He’s extremely stunned. The sperm creation was something– something selfish. Cosmetic, more than anything else. Good for his ego, if not particularly useful. He wanted to cum like a cis man. He wanted to see if he could do it. Well, it turns out he could.

Summary
Viktor "A," the mage who transcended mortality, reached over and over through the expanse of the Arcane to find an end to the eternal cycle he and Jayce are bound to. The journey finally over, he watches as his own Jayce is freed from the suffering they've endured for far, far too long, and quietly awaits his turn.
It does not come. Clearly there is work still to do.
Lost and now without purpose for the first time in eons, Viktor turns his energy toward the first act of atonement that comes to mind: rescuing Jayce "C," a variant whose unique circumstances have left him trapped in his dead-end timeline for over a decade. Perhaps if he can find somewhere safe for this Jayce to exist, he will finally earn his own story's end.
If only it were that easy. Viktor A has made a terribly human miscalculation- he failed to consider that he and Jayce C may have different expectations when it comes to their 'temporary' arrangement.

Viktor crowds him against the desk, forcing the back of his thighs into the edge. Jayce's other hand instinctively raises to Viktor’s torso to try and maintain some degree of separation, feeling the gentle rumble of his machinery under his shirt.
“That’s very presumptuous of you, Defender.”
Jayce's breath hitches as light pressure is applied to his jaw, tilted up to look directly at Viktor, the few inches of height he has on Jayce now only magnified. He’s so close that he can hear the soft electrical hum always present in Viktor's body, detect the metallic scent that's grown bittersweetly familiar over time.
