Summary
Kurz vor seiner letzten Prüfung am Ende seines ersten Jahres an der Universität erhält Bob einen Anruf aus Malibu. Dem seltsamen Mr. Speckle wurde ein teures Sammlerstück gestohlen. Kurz darauf finden die drei Detektive sich tief in einem Fall mit unzähligen Verdächtigen und wenigen Spuren. Eigentlich kein Problem, denn bis jetzt haben sie jeden Fall gelöst. Aber zwischen der Hitze des kalifornischen Sommers, seinen Selbstzweifeln und seinen verwirrten Gefühlen ist Bob sowieso schon überfordert. Wie lang kann er seine Probleme ignorieren, ohne seine Freunde im Stich zu lassen?

Bob ist währenddessen absolut blind für den riesigen, winkenden Zaunpfahl vor seiner Nase. Er datet wild umher und fragt sich, warum er nie tiefere Gefühle aufbaut. Und er verbringt eh viel lieber einfach Zeit mit Peter. Ob er wohl drauf kommt, wenn die drei Fragezeichen im Laufe ihres Falls die Bekanntschaft einer queeren Freundesgruppe machen?

Summary
There are many words Simon would use to describe Wilhelm. “Arrogant,” “spoiled,” and “a prissy prince” to name a few. Likewise, Wilhelm thinks he has Simon accurately labeled as an attention-seeking asshat who never shuts his loud mouth. Their disdain for each other seems to know no bounds, until the two wake up in one bed after a house party which causes a surge in their friends’ pre-existing notion that Simon and Wilhelm’s hatred for each other is just poorly veiled lust.
Eventually it all becomes too much for either of them to handle, leading to Simon and Wilhelm agreeing to fake date long enough to end their “relationship” in a massive staged fight which will finally get their friends off of their backs once and for all. But the more time they spend together, the more their plan begins to fall apart, and they realize that falling for your enemy isn’t as impossible as it seems.
TLDR: An enemies to lovers & fake dating story, with focuses on Simon’s struggle to keep his family afloat despite his father’s abuse and addiction, and Wille’s trauma and anxiety from childhood to adulthood, heavily based on the book “They Hate Each Other” by Amanda Woody

His floor is for the most part tolerable apart from a few underclassmen who can’t use a microwave or a washing machine to save their life. Usually it’s just questions about buttons and settings, but one day, some idiot decides to microwave a metal fork.
Jimin—the aforementioned fork murderer—turns out to be a criminally cute idiot.
