When a twenty mile radius originating from Downtown Chicago is walled off to contain an outbreak of the T-Virus, the BSAA sends in Chris Redfield to lead a team in discovering the origin of the outbreak. His mission is joined by Agent Leon S. Kennedy and his new partner and sponsor, Helena Harper, who have been sent to help the BSAA uncover the truth behind the capture of Sherry Birkin and Jake Muller. Claire is on the ground with Terrasave, prepared to help survivors on the ground when she gets caught in the middle of Chris' original sin. Luckily for her brother, he's never been alone in this.

In the village, he meets a strange man at the centre of everything that seems to encompass everything Leon is steadily running from the further they go into the dark.

That’s the problem, he thinks. At its core, it comes down to taking down what took everything from them. Because, it really wasn’t just limited to their mother. He’d been enrolled in an elementary school and was the most popular girl in the fourth grade when John had made them move to the United States. Sam had only just started kinder and never got to watch the newest episode of Plaza Sesamo that was supposed to premiere the day after they left. They’d left most of their belongings in the little house in Mexico City and arrived on new soil, with people speaking a language that was foreign to them, and were forced to learn to survive here.
Their lives, living in a place where they’re considered strangers, and are by definition “illegal,” is what should drive Sam to wanting to kill the monster that killed their mom. If they kill that, they can go home.
