It's a battered thing with a photo of the Trevi Fountain under all the creases, though the postmark says it was sent from France; there's nothing on the back, nothing beyond the scrawl that makes up your address and a hastily scribbled Annie. You mean to throw it out but it ends up as a bookmark, eventually forgotten once the story draws to a close.
