Yanqing and Yunli frequently sparred, and due to their competitive nature unique only to them, it was a stretch but it could definitely be seen as romantic by the both of them.
The romance was thread bare, these spars barely have romantic substance however. In hindsight, this made his decision to propose all the more unexpected.
