Dispatcher: This is an urgent call for a dangerous assignment. The target’s surrounded by a cadre of skilled freaks that’ll cut you up, turn you inside out, and stab you through the heart without a second thought, but only if you’re lucky. If you get caught, they’ll keep doing it to you for months. This is a rotten job but the client’s in a hurry so there isn’t much time to plan. But don’t let the payment for this one blind you to the risks. Personally I don’t think it’s worth any amount of money but I gotta offer it up. Anyone who’s afraid or who’s got something to live for should leave now.
Dazai: (scoffing internally, watching newbies and people with – ick – families stream out) I have no fears.

Summary
Chuuya has had a rough couple of nights. Being the figurehead to a gang was one thing. He’d been practically leading the sheep since he was a kid. Dealing with moles, business competitors, shipping routes, and everything under the sun as their influence grew? That’s another.
And on top of that, anybody who’s anybody wants him dead.
Dazai is a normal guy at a normal bar looking for someone tall, dark and handsome to take him home when his eyes choose instead to land on a little, red slug.

That includes his brain, apparently, when Dazai opens his mouth and all that comes out is a petulant, "Ew."
The guy pauses, blinking in bewilderment. Then, his mouth curls downwards in a slight frown, and there is no reason for him to look even more attractive like that, but he does. Dazai is so screwed. "The fuck, dude?"

I used to panic a little, cause I know there’s nothing I can do to stop it until it’s over.”He holds his wrist out over Chuuya’s mouth, the blood gathering and bowing off his broken skin. Chuuya wraps his hands around Dazai’s arm and drags the cut to his mouth. Dazai gasps when he sucks at it like a vampire.
It can’t amount to the pain, the blood loss, everything his love endured for him. It’s much too meagre a payment for that. But at least he can offer some of his own pain, his own blood, in return. It’s hardly atonement, but, perhaps it’s reciprocation—a sufficient offering. Anything that brings him closer to knowing Chuuya’s pain, oh it pleases him.Series
