“Discussing possible reasons why Tau Ceti is not infected while other stars are,” Eva replied deftly. “I would invite you to join, but we were just finishing—”
“Oh, that’s easy.” His hand twisted a knob, and the notes came out sharper. “It is infected—Petrova Line and everything.”
In Grace's opinion, dreaming about time traveling is no excuse for getting out of practice with his Eridian. To the rest of the Petrova Taskforce, it seems a bit odd that their resident Astrophage expert has suddenly taken to carrying a keyboard around and playing it whenever he speaks. Eva Stratt resolves to figure out what is going on.

what wasn't part of the plan was the ridiculously handsome lord living in the manor beyond the woods. the one nobody ever sees during the day. the one the villagers seem terrified to even speak about.
and, well, satoru has never been particularly good at minding his own business.
suguru geto has spent centuries keeping his hunger under control, and the last thing he needs is some pretty, sharp-tongued aristocrat showing up at his door and making him question every ounce of restraint he's ever possessed.
especially when said aristocrat seems far more interested in his fangs than his own survival.
or: satoru falls for a vampire, suguru develops a rather unfortunate obsession with the taste of his blood, and neither of them knows when to stop.

“Wilson!” he calls, willing to concede if only to understand what the hell is going on. “You can stop now! You win!”
“Hm?” Wilson reappears in the doorway, knotting some hideously patterned tie. “If this is about the poker game I know you cheated on—”
“This prank,” House says, gesturing all around the apartment. “You got me, you don’t have to—”
But in the action of waving his hand around, his gaze catches on a shiny glint on his finger. He blinks at it. Once, twice. It can’t be.
He’s wearing a wedding ring.
Out of the corner of his eye, he sees Wilson place his hands on his hips, roll his eyes. There’s a similar band on his left hand, fourth finger—the designated marriage finger. The sight is not unfamiliar to House, what with Wilson’s endless stream of wives, but House has never seen a matching ring on his own hand. Certainly not one that matches Wilson’s.
