I've had some issues with how I have felt as a trans man recently and how I feel like I'm 'doing it wrong' because I am okay with my body. I always feel Yamato is the type of guy who doesn't see his female born body as anything less than a man's body and he's okay with it. This is basically two trans men in love who have gone different routes with their journey and both are as valid as one another.

Willow exhaled, resting her temple against the glass and closed her eyes. Hunter didn’t believe for a second that she would fall asleep, as her body remained coiled with tension.
“He just...” She whispered. “...wanted to see this world so much.”
Hunter could see it in that smile, in those weary eyes, hear it in her heavy voice.
Willow was absorbing Gus’s burdens to lighten his load. It was quite possible she was doing the same with everyone who surrounded her.
This left her own burdens neglected.
He understood how it felt to devote your entire self to the monsters that plagued the life of someone else. It withered away every fragment of yourself that belonged solely to you.
“Like you wanted to see the rain.” Hunter reminded her.
It must be a little bittersweet for Willow too.
