“Harrington?” Billy cracked the front door open wide enough to yell down the hall. He waited with bated breath, but gave up and stepped inside after a full minute without any reply. “Steve, are you here?”
Billy moved from the entryway to the spacious living room but there was still no sign of the older boy. Quietly, with anxiety building like a storm in the hollow of his chest cavity, he continued down the hall to check the large guest bedroom and its adjoining bathroom – where Steve lay propped against the large white bathtub with his legs splayed out in front of him. The brunette wasn’t moving except to breathe and his eyes were firmly closed.

Steve Harrington and Billy Hargrove had never gotten along, ever since the latter appeared in Hawkins all the way from California. Steve never understood why, well he did, he didn't like Hargrove or his personality or the fact that he seemingly didn't know what personal space was. Their bickering and fighting starts to transcend to the court, and the basketball team is suffering thanks to them. Their coach makes a deal with them, they won't get benched or kicked out of the team if they get along. They have no clue how to make it work, but the team and their friends do.
