Summary
The biggest downside of being an Underground Hero is he has to stay out of the spotlight to do his job properly—it's extremely hard to go undercover when you get recognized on sight, and Katsuki and Izuku are the most recognizable pro heroes of their generation. It would be professional suicide if Hitoshi were seen walking hand in hand with them and being tagged in photos of their domestic home life.
The more years this goes on, though, the more he thinks it wouldn't be so bad to give up the cloak and dagger lifestyle to be able to hold his goddamn boyfriends' hands and be seen with them.

Shouto sits up in the bed to watch him as he slips into the hallway, hands clutching the stuffie on his lap. His blanket is baby pink fleece, well worn in from frequent washing, and every time he looks at the thing, Touya sees five-year-old Shouto clinging to it as their father tried to take it from him, shouting angrily.
When he steps back into his own room, Touya expects to see Shouto still sitting up and waiting for him.
He’s lying down again, curled up against Keigo’s chest. Keigo’s hand rubs his back in slow passes, almost covering the narrow width of Shouto’s body. They’re both quiet, just even breathing and the rustle of bedding disturbing the quiet stillness. Touya stands in the doorway, watching with a sudden, fluttering tightness in his chest; the way his little brother turns his face into Keigo’s shoulder and sighs drowsily.

Touya had filed for emergency custody of Shouto just over a year ago, immediately after removing him from the house in a panic, and Shouto had been officially under his care for the foreseeable future. The custody wasn’t temporary anymore.

“I’ve only realized this, but… You have a soft spot for families, don’t you?” Touya asked, tone light and curious.
If Touya had asked any other day, Keigo would’ve scoffed and emphasized that he didn’t discriminate on who he saved. But right now, Keigo was hurt. Add the searing pain in his back to his emotionally-compromised state, all that Keigo could focus on was the fear if he had been a step too late back then. The boy he had protected could have lost his family, and Keigo swore to himself that no kid would meet the same fate as he did.
“Yes,” Keigo snapped, sharp and petulant, daring Touya to question his personal belief. “What about it?”
Instead, Touya smiled, soft and loving and full of a plan Keigo could yet guess. “Well, I’d better add one more seat for my family’s dining table, then."
Or: where Todoroki Touya gave his boyfriend, Takami Keigo, the family he never had by introducing him to the Todoroki family.

“Oh look, there’s your boyfriend,” Shigaraki says snidely as the YouTube video he and Spinner were watching suddenly spits out an ad for the latest Hawks MV that looks pretty much as fake as all his rest.
Touya doesn’t even look up from tuning his bass. “Not my boyfriend.”
“Not what EntertainmentJapan is saying~” Toga sing-songs, holding up her phone and waving it at him.
Touya sees the now-familiar photo of himself kabedoning Hawks at the airport, looking as though he’s patting his cheek with the airplane ticket, and drops his head and groans.
Or Touya and Hawks go viral from an airport photo, and decide to promote their band and idol careers respectively by doing some fake fanservice with each other. But how fake is it really?
