There was a sense of community and solidarity that developed between employees working in the same building, even though they were at different jobs. Noel had made quite a few fast friends at that mall from that instant connection they all shared. So, when Noel met another employee with dark hair and a foreign accent that he hadn't seen before, he was intrigued, especially when it seemed like he might be flirting with him.
