Summary
After a mishap with alternate timeline interventions from Clockwork to help Danny train and develop as Ghost King, he was trapped in the timeline for far too long. After a countless number of years Danny is summoned back to his own timeline not by Clockwork but the justice league. He was missing for 3 years for his timeline. Summary
Danny ends up trapped in the Thermos with Ember, Johnny, and Kitty. As they pass the time together playing games, Danny learns more about ghosts—including the fact that ghost cores can bond with each other to form family-like relationships, which he accidentally discovers the hard way.
When the four get released, Sam and Tucker have many questions, particularly as to why they're all wearing each others' clothes and why Danny and Ember emerged from the Thermos cuddling. Somehow this also leads to the realization that Danny hasn't aged since his accident.
Then, Danny and Ember find themselves in detention—during which Danny's ghostly identity gets revealed to some of the last people he'd ever want to share his secret with.
