By the time he leaves the elevator he’s angry, each reverberation of his feet hitting asphalt felt in the remaining bones and surgical grade titanium in his right leg, all the way up to his hip. It takes him less than sixty seconds to walk from the parking deck to the ambulance bay. Ten feet from the entrance, he sees Robby walk through the first set of doors, past Ahmad, and then through the second set of doors. His pulse roars in his ears, his heart pounding in his chest. For the first time in years, Jack Abbot feels something approximating rage, an emotion he has long assumed to be medicated out of him.

OR, a weird middle-ground between a bottle episode and a dialogue study, in which Gerard Way is a tattoo artist and Frank Iero is an ink fiend willing to take eight hours under a needle in exchange for... well, he isn't sure.
Spanning a year's worth of tattoo appointments-- trending toward mutual therapy sessions-- and the occasional adventure, Frank and Gerard bond over croquet teams, missing cats, deep fears, and the belief that a city can shatter a heart, but the right person can put it back together again.

He hasn't seen him since the band broke up and they still remember everything what they were and what they had before the MCR breakup. I'm not good at summaries but I promise this isn't a totally horrible fic okay 💔💔

That’s why at the age of 26, somehow still kicking, he found himself adrift, attending weekly group therapy sessions for suicide survivors and scrambling to make a list of all the reasons he shouldn’t try again.
He certainly never expected the newest, aggressively hostile member of the therapy group - Frank, who seems to hate everyone and everything on principle - to become the next bullet point on that list.
