While most of his daily life is boring there are some things that occasionally break up the monotony like toilet potions gone wrong, books that try to eat the reader, and one annoying (and unfortunately attractive) library ghost. However his typical routine is thrown out of whack by a mysterious stranger with living tattoos who seems very interested in their books on how to raise the dead.
