Summary
Kris has never been one for making wishes for stupid things like getting rich or passing an exam, never believing them, not keeping track, not wanting things held over their head; they had skipped enough stones, blown enough eyelashes and dandelions, broken enough wishbones to know that stupid wishes don't come true.
Wishing for someone, on the other hand, is a different story. Wishes made by Noelle, wishing for girls like Susie to come into her life and sweep her off her feet, wishing unapologetically, without telling anyone, in hopes that they actually come true.
Kris has had their fair share of those wishes.

Summary
Much to Susie’s surprise, Noelle didn’t love her at first because she saw behind the mask, because she knew she was a sweetie beneath, but the draw of Susie was her violent tendencies.
Noelle’s idea of love was something Susie isn’t used to.
Susie would never hurt Noelle.
Even if she asked. -

Summary
After freshman year, Friends and Family Weekend is awfully boring for the younger siblings in the family. Since it’s Asriel’s 3rd year in college and Toriel insists the Dreemurrs go every year for the whole weekend, Kris has to repeat the process over and over again, like a time loop.
That’s why Toriel invites Susie. Susie makes it much more interesting for Kris. -

Summary
There's a lingering silence after the cold water falls from the sky, after the water laps at their ankles, shins, torsos, after her father falls down, after Toriel forces her last child to deliver flowers to the grieving household. Because it's the nice thing to do. It's terrifying.
