“Don’t patronize me. You’re Resistance.” Wanderer snorts, an oddly breathy thing full of mockery. The blood has started to feel like molten lava burning on his face, his stomach, his legs. “Here, it’s a sin of the same degree. They hang your kind, too.”
In the midst of wartime and turned fugitive on the run, Wanderer forms an unwilling alliance with an estranged resistance soldier to escape capture - well, that is, of course, if Wanderer doesn’t kill him first.

Kazuha’s breath hitched at Scaramouche's words, his heart racing and stomach filled with disappointment. Scaramouche said he wouldn't hurt him, why did he believe that? Why was he so naive as soon as someone moderately kind was friendly to him? He wasn't that lonely. After all, he had Scorcher.
“The city.” Scorcher replied without hesitation, not even a second passing after Scaramouche finished his declaration.

Kazuha is the lucky lover of the famed hero of Ritou; Scorcher. Scorcher is charming, handsome, and has the entire city wrapped around his slender fingers. While their relationship comes with many trials, as it is hard being the lover of a hero, he still values their relationship more then anything; He has to if he wants to survive.
Everything changes the day he's taken by Scorchers enemy though, as he's left with a shattered heart, a tattered body, and a manipulated mind as he learns to heal, love, and trust again.

In the dim light of the bedroom, Scaramouche froze. The screen showed one name next to his: Kaedehara Kazuha.
OR
In 2012, Niwa Hisahide is reported missing. Inazuma High becomes a suspected crime scene. A boy by the name of Kunikuzushi is interviewed by police, media, family. He’s Niwa’s best friend. But he knows nothing.
He moves to Sumeru to continue high school, where he changes his name to Scaramouche. His locks his past in a wooden box of memories, Niwa’s laughing face imprinted on yellowed photographs. He gives up art, refusing to draw ever again, for he wholly believes that he's cursed, and that he caused Niwa's disappearance.
He works for college, entering Liyue School of Performing Arts as a talented pianist and violinist. His life becomes mundane, repetitive, with occasional interruptions from distant friends. But that is how he likes it.
And then the Gods punish him. A mandatory pair project. A white-haired dancer for a partner. His heart starts to beat again. Love, denial, love, denial.
Scaramouche is fucked.
