“Can I ask you something?” Mic asks, slowly looking away from the sky as the cloud passes and the sun’s rays shine on them again.
“Of course.”
“Why do you want to be a hero, Kaminari?” Mic’s voice is gentle, as if he’s afraid to break whatever somber mood has settled over them as well.
Kaminari looks down, into the sea of people walking so far below them. Kaminari can’t hear them, can barely make out their faces, even. But, he can imagine what they’re doing. Adults walking to and from work, or the store running errands. Some laden with bags, others with briefcases. Teenagers and kids walking home from school, stopping at corner stores and arcades to hang out longer with their friends. Families walking downtown, children in the middle, clutching their parent’s hands and laughing in joy. Everyone living their lives, in their own bubbles, going about their day. Kaminari can feel himself smiling as he observes them.
Or, Kaminari interns with Present Mic. It goes better than Kaminari could have ever hoped.

Albedo sighs, batting away the wandering fingers that come too close to his ribs, and musters up his most deadpan look. “You know that Paimon doesn’t take it well,” he says, drawing a long arc on his page and glancing up briefly, quick enough to catch a glimpse of Klee skipping towards a notable clump of Windwheel Asters, Dodoco swinging on the side of her backpack.
“Maybe I just wanted you all for myself,” Kaeya purrs. “Are you mad at me, sunflower?”
“Not particularly.” Albedo glances down and resists the urge to roll his eyes. “Though the fact that you derive such joy from aggravating Lumine’s traveling companion is mildly worrying.”
“Oh? And why is that?”
“I don’t want Klee picking up your bad habits,” he says dryly.

Masahito is typically regarded as the unremarkable Kujou sibling. He will never have the book smarts of Kamaji, and he's grown fairly certain that it's impossible for Sara to not outshine everyone no matter what she does, so in and of itself the assumption is perhaps not unfounded.
He is good at the one thing his siblings barely even tries to do, though. Namely, taking care of themselves.
Sara in particular definitely needs it.

Kujou Masahito doesn't have a head for politics.
If such a statement were to have come from his father, it could be construed as a reprimand or an insult — but it's the unfortunate truth. If Masahito had to choose between battling with words and wits through a long meeting in a room full of stuffy nobles, or facing down a thousand kairagi on the battlefield, he'd choose the kairagi on any day.
From the corner of his eye, he glances at Sara; next to him, she holds herself rigidly still, her eyes fixed to the floor rather than on anyone else seated at the table.
Kamaji. Hiiragi Chisato. Kamisato Ayaka and her Mondstadter retainer. Sangonomiya Kokomi.
If Masahito had to guess, he'd say that Sara would rather take the kairagi, too.

After Kamaji’s frankly terrifying, humiliating, horrible experience dueling the Raiden Shogun to try to somewhat redeem himself and his Clan ends with him not only being alive but being gifted enough time to try and bring his family back to the Shogun’s good graces he decides it's time to clean house.
Literally.
With an injured sister on the premises and a long overdue talk however, things might be a little more difficult than anticipated.
“Have you been cleaning?”
Sara looked at him dead in the eyes before replying. “No.”
Kamaji ran a finger along the windowsill, inspecting it and finding it spotless. He raised an eyebrow.
“I haven’t,” she insisted, moving towards her bed to lay down once again.

Kaeya Alberich, the Cavalry Captain of the Knights of Favonius, was leaning against a wall by the Grandmaster's office, holding a few sheets of (presumed) paperwork.
A signature sly smile decorated his soft lips, his uncovered eye glimmered in dangerous curiosity as it locked onto the blond- no doubt the most interesting thing in the empty hall.
“Kaeya.” Albedo greeted in acknowledgement, his tone level and unbothered as he made his way towards the taller man.

Albedo knew that his worsening shoulder pain was strange, scary, even, but the flutter and ache in his chest whenever he saw a certain Cavalry Captain felt a lot more out of place...
And a whole lot more terrifying.

Temorarily being turned into a cat couldn't be the worst thing in the world, right?
Even easier when the Calvary Captian graciously takes you in off the street. Though Albedo soon learns that no one can be good at everything, and picking up on someone genieunly flirting with him...apparently he was shit at it. Even Klee figured it out before he did.
Now all he has to do is figure out away to turn back so he can at least attempt to safe face by asking Kaeya out first...figuring the man doesn't realizing the stray he'd taken in and Albedo are one in the same.
