Boyd’s trusty pickup had decided to up and die on him at the worst time possible, of course, during one of Kentucky’s rare but always a pain in the ass serious snowstorms. And since everything in God’s kingdom seemed to shut down if there was more than three inches on the ground (and since personal favors and/or leverage were rather thin on the ground for him, as of late), he had known he was in for a long wait for a tow.
Being in the depressive mood and physical locality he just so happened to be in, he then couldn’t help but find his feet pointed in a certain direction.
A snowstorm in Kentucky brings two fools together.
