Summary
Though the Tragedy is far behind them on their small island, the ripple effects it caused still affect the world. Christmas day is no exception. However, Christmas spirit survives as a mysterious individual travels around to preserve hope during the most wonderful time of the year.
On Jabberwock Island, despair is nothing but a scar the Remnants of Despair share in common. But that couldn't be further from their minds as they prepare for the biggest celebration of the year - Hajime Hinata finally coming home. As they prepare a Christmas party to celebrate his return, its hard not to think about how much Hinata means to them. Harder still to not worry as the night goes on without him arriving.
If only their emotions could reach Hinata from an ocean away.

Without either of them noticing, Christmas arrives, even in the aftermath of the Tragedy. A call with Makoto makes Komaru realise how much she's missing out on, and how much she's missing him. Toko might not be able to gift her her family back for Christmas, but there is something she can do to restore her hope.
Unfortunately, she'll have to rely on Syo to carry it out.

Souda had convinced himself he didn't care about spending his time as a frustrated shoulder for Hinata to cry on over Komaeda.

Komaeda may be good at his ruse, but that meant nothing to someone like the Ultimate Imposter. While his facade may be easy to spot, his reasoning was less so.
