Her smile wavered, a bit. She brushed back at her nape, bashful at the sudden question. And Aziraphale took the time to measure if she was fit for socialising. Or defenestration.
“Crowley,” says she, red lips smiling around her name. Aziraphale’s own forming into a small ‘o’, testing the way her name felt on her tongue. Crowley. She laughed, breathless, “Sorry if me knowing you first is, uh, creepy or anything.”
“Far from it,” Aziraphale mumbled, suppressing a grin, “I just hope you may owe me the pleasure of knowing you next.”
Strangers meet, a friendship unfurls. Few are such chances to meet a lovely new fellow. Fewer, still, are they interesting. Such definite allure - Aziraphale finds herself taken after a performance. And Crowley finds herself a new, impromptu taste tester (and certainly didn't ask her presence under the cover of night, for any other reason...)
