Jimin pulled Namjoon to a stop and looked him in the eye. Namjoon was looking down and biting his lip, his eyes glossy in a way that they normally weren’t. “What do you mean, hyung? Why would that be a problem?”
“It’s not-“ Namjoon took in a deep breath, finally looking up at Jimin and quickly back down. “It’s not fun, and I get- I get really sick. And I’ve courted other packs before, and it’s been a deal breaker.”

He’s in the bathroom with the door locked, but even then he feels anxiety pooling in his chest, tight and warped. He can’t even look at himself in the mirror, despite that being the entire reason he’s here. He’s not supposed to like wearing skirts. It’s so cliche because clothing doesn’t have a gender, but how does wearing a skirt make him a good, strong man?
When he finally does look, everything is wrong. His hair is standing straight up, permed beyond all reason. He has a pimple on his nose and dark eye bags. His big t-shirt covers half of the plain black knee-length skirt. But still, he loves it. He loves the skirt, loves how it makes him feel pretty and soft. Loves how powerful it makes him feel too.
“Just remember, you’re not selfish for wanting to be seen.”
