Summary
June has lived through a lot: tragedy, crime, loss, and joy. She is a strong woman who can, for the most part, handle herself. But when she finds herself being badgered into selling her home to Dominique Bennet, she’s at her wit’s end. Not only is the neighborhood slipping deeper and deeper onto the wrong side of the law, but Mrs. Bennet has, reportedly, bought up the rest of the neighborhood already. June’s granddaughter, Cindy, won’t stand for this sort of treatment, so she seeks out the legendary team of criminals fighting for justice — the Leverage crew.
Hardison and Harry are all over this; the whole team has had Dominique on their radar for a while, and Harry’s worked for one too many manipulative developers, so they take the job. Never in their wildest dreams, though, did they expect to find themselves working with the similarly legendary Neal Caffrey, or having to evade the watchful eye of Peter Burke.
tl;dr A White Collar and Leverage crossover fic in which the Leverage team inadvertently helps Neal’s landlord and there’s a lot of mindless fluff because why not
