Summary
Arthur looked the most relaxed Merlin had ever seen him; his hair was a golden mop, glistening droplets of water traveling down the planes and angles of his face. Merlin’s eyes followed one, down the side of Arthur’s sculpted nose, reaching his plump lips where Arthur’s tongue darted out to catch it.
Merlin tore his eyes away and let his face break out into a bright grin as he looked into Arthur’s eyes. “You could’ve told me that we were going for a swim; I would’ve complained far less.”
Arthur rolled his eyes slightly. “I was going for a swim,” he replied, “you simply decided to follow me.”

Summary
Ygraine liked to talk to Uther, although she knew he could not hear her. She liked to tell him how he had been respected for his justness and loved by his people. How he was careless to let himself fall from that esteem. How he was a cruel and terrible king. How she wished she could switch places with him, leaving her in a position of power and leaving him trapped between the worlds, unable to pass through the veil. How she hated that she was powerless to stop him.
How it was his fault she was stuck here.
--------
Or, Ygraine is a ghost, watching hopelessly as Uther murders magic users in her name.

Summary
This is a little drabble / collection of 4 vignettes about how Merlin's magic feels over the years. Warning, it's pretty emotional and kinda sad (but okay in the end).

Summary
"Merliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiin!" Arthur screamed as he rolled down the hill with absolutely no control over his body. The hill just kept going, and every time he flipped onto his right shoulder, his chainmaille got shoved into it. It got worse and worse every rotation, since he now had a bruise forming.
When he finally reached the bottom, Arthur breathed a sigh of relief. It was then that he decided to open his eyes, only to see Merlin rolling down the hill, headed straight for him. "Merlin! Stop! You're going to-"
Arthur was cut off mid-sentence as Merlin tumbled into him. They both went rolling a little more, then settled on a flat section. Merlin was directly on top of Arthur.

Summary
Arthur was sitting in his office, trying to get some work done. He spun around in his swivel chair, pajama pants swishing against the surface. He hadn't bothered to get dressed, as it was Saturday, and he couldn't really do anything, because...
"Aaaaaa-choo!"
Well, because of that.
Merlin had come home from work on Thursday with a bit of a cough, but nothing serious. One hour later, he was a snotty mess sinking into the couch. It's been three days, and nothing has changed. Well, maybe he's sunk a bit further into the couch.

Summary
"Merlin's eyes flashed gold as the bandit dropped to the ground. He donned a satisfied smile and looked up to see how Arthur was doing, only to see Arthur, surrounded by the bodies of defeated bandits, staring right at him with an unreadable expression on his face."
Crouched in a damp cell, awaiting his execution, Merlin reflects on the events of the previous day.
