Dennis’ deft hands continued to scrub shampoo into Robby’s scalp, rocking him ever so slightly back and forth. Robby resisted rolling his eyes at Whitaker’s new favourite topic.
‘And when was the last time you had an appointment for anything that wasn’t transition related, huh?’ Robby raised his eyebrow, noting Whitaker’s pointed silence. ‘Only got your pelvic exam in this year because I made it fun.’ He muttered, just low enough for Whitaker to hear.
Watching the blush creep up Dennis’ neck was one of Robby’s favourite hobbies. It brought the same peaceful rush as standing on the hospital roof, watching a similar flush of colour break across the sky, the chill of the morning air, and the fresh dew in the air reminding him there’s a world outside the Pitt.
