Dear Mister Potter,
It has been decreed by the Department of Emotional Healing and Magical Well-Being that a new initiative be put into place for all returning Seventh and Eighth Year students. You will be anonymously matched with a partner whose journal is connected to your own. You are not allowed to give your name, but instead, you will be assigned a goal of learning who your partner is by the end of the school year through a series of writing exercises and shared mental health practices. Our goal is to match you with another student whose experiences during the last several years will lead you both down a road of mutually beneficial healing. "Are you getting back with her or not?!" The yell echoed off the brick walls surrounding them. Her chest heaved as she gulped in breaths, desperate for air. She wasn’t allowing him to leave until she had an answer, no matter how long it took. He may be a professionally trained Auror, proficient in a number of torture techniques, but she had a few tricks of her own that she wasn’t above using to get him to talk.
She shifted her legs slightly so that the hem of her dress rose an inch. It took a moment, but his unwavering gaze faltered. She watched as his eyes drifted down to her bare neck...her clavicle...and came to rest on the space where her dress met the top of her thighs.
"Did you wear that for Flint?" The question was a mere whisper between them.
"Is that seriously all you have to say? I asked you a question." Oh, this idiotic, maddening man.
Or, the one where Harry and Pansy finally stop wasting time on other people.
