This has been their longest fight so far. And it's because of a single clumsy mistake Giyuu wished he knew how to correct, or undo, rather.
One thing he knew, though, was that he had to do everything to win her back. Whatever it takes.

shinobu grabs on his arm before he can get up, shaking her head.
“where?”now it’s giyuu’s turn to sigh, he brings his knees towards his chest, crossing his arms, “im want to go home and sleep” he can immediately feel shinobu’s grip loosen.
“you can’t sleep your problems away” theres concern in her voice and giyuu nods in agreement, knowing damn-well he’s going to bed as soon as he gets home.
“okay.” his voice sounds empty and dull, but maybe it always has.

Shinobu Kocho and Giyuu Tomioka have one big issue in common: they're really quite terrible at expressing their feelings. While Shinobu may want to fix this problem, Giyuu doesn't.
And so, when Giyuu wakes up in the Butterfly Estate after a botched fight against a demon, a new duel begins as Shinobu tries to tear down the walls they've built.
TL;DR Shinobu tries to get Giyuu to express his feelings with a series of small competitions and then one more exciting competition.
