Siren. The number three villain, only ranking lower than the Angel and the Blade. A slick, cunning, annoying son of a bitch who, yippee, has the ability to compel others to do anything he wants. All things he already knew, but what Tommy hadn’t known was that apparently he was the only one not affected by it.
It seemed Tommy was left alone and unfazed by Siren’s ability, an ability that no one should be left unfazed from, and no one ever had been, not in the history of, well, ever.
This was probably a bad thing.

The kid shoots up and he looks scared out of his mind for a second before scowling. “I’m not a fuckin’ kid,” he snaps. Wilbur laughs softly, the kids eyes are blue, they remind him of Phil.
“Right, how can I help you?”
The kids’ bristling demeanor dies down instantly and he looks suddenly much more nervous. The kids posture is shit, Wilbur notices, his shoulders are up and slouched over his chest almost protectively. He starts fidgeting with sleeves of his shirt and he quickly but quietly pulls out a five dollar bill, he slides it across the bar to Wilbur.
“Could I have a- could I get a-“ He pauses, shakes his head and looks up.
“Hamburger and sweet potato fries,” He says it with a confident voice but scared eyes and body language.or phil, techno, and wilbur own a diner and tommy becomes a regular customer. one found family arc later and they adopt him

Then another man is bounding over. Tall, skinny, just like Tommy, except a little bit taller. Brown curls pile upon his head and over his forehead. Tommy can see a strong nose, and a strong chin, and everything clicks as the man leans into Techno’s space and starts excitedly showing him the contents of a brown bakery bag.
“Oh my god! This is perfect!” Tommy exclaims, drawing the attention of the new, cooler man. Cooler because Tommy actually looks like this guy, a little bit, despite the man’s brown eyes and rounded glasses resting upon his nose.
“Excuse me,” Tommy says eagerly, practically bouncing on his feet. “Will you be my pretend-brother?”

After getting into trouble at school, Tommy has to take his brother, Phil, to Parent's Night—except Phil is always working, and always exhausted, and Tommy doesn't want to burden him...

They're probably just miserable and," Phil lifts one hand and waves it around, gesturing, before bringing it back down to continue typing. He doesn't turn around to look at Tommy at all. "—you know." he sighs.
"You can a handle it." his dad says. "Just— grow up. Be the bigger person."
A heavy weight like a stone drops in Tommy's stomach. He feels it, and with the stone, his heart as well. For a second, he thinks he might be sick.
Just grow up.
"O—oh." Tommy chokes, feeling a ball forming in his throat, blocking it up, causing tears to prick at his eyes. He goes to try to speak around it, but—
"Is there anything else you need?" Phil asks, endlessly facing away, still not even bothering to face Tommy. "I'm really busy, kiddo."

Summary
After months of more racing, deliberation, and preparation, Tommy is finally ready to tell his father about what he’s actually been doing after school. With his brothers support and his family racing syndicate behind his back he’s never felt more confident of what he’s about to do despite his nerves. He’s riding the high of sitting at the top on the pedestal he had fought so hard for.
He’s mended his relationship with his brothers, he and Tubbo are at the top of the racing game, the racing circuit has become a second home to him along with the people that surround him. Tommy has never been happier.
However a king never keeps his crown for long. The racing champion did not anticipate that the one man who was his biggest supporter could be the biggest roadblock in what gives his life meaning.
Lack of trust has painful and possibly dangerous consequences.
Aka: You’ve been asking for it so here it is. Philza makes his official entrance with a bang, and things might just not end well for our resident underdog.
The third part of the Shut up and Drive saga, I highly recommend reading those two before this or your gonna be confused.

Phil grinned. “I’m glad you’re okay with this, Wilbur.”They get their first call barely a month later. At two in the morning, Phil shakes Wilbur awake to tell him the news.

“I got something on my face or some shit?” Tommy bit out at Wilbur, cutting Philza off with little care. He’d be lucky to get beaten by him right in front of Sam because then they’d finally fucking leave.
For a second he expected Wilbur not to respond, but then his eyes widened like he realized what he’d been doing before it was back to a blank stare. “Your face is all fucked up.” He said simply.
“Wilbur.” Philza hissed, and Tommy could see from the corner of his eye as Techno rapidly brought the book back up to his face.
or,
Tommy is a notorious foster kid no one is sure what to do with. When Phil signs up to foster again, he wasn’t prepared for a kid to be dropped off on his doorstep so soon, one with that extensive of a record to his name. Techno and Wilbur do their best to be good (foster) brothers, but Tommy is a bit different than what they expected.
And Tommy just wants a break, but can't seem to catch one with the weird ass family he's being fostered by, and somewhere along the way begrudgingly starts to care.

The realization sent him gasping for oxygen- the numb haze falling instantly.
Fuck.
It hurt.
The messages on his laptop continued to pile up as he slumped against the wall. They would kill him if he died. Couldn't change the outcome though, could he?
Just another shitty foster home.
Tommy's been in the foster system for a long, long time. Tubbo's been by his side longer. Ranboo, while the newest of the three, is still someone Tommy trusts with his life (he has had to, before).
He's not sure what to think of his newest family, one father and two adopted kids, one of which is the Technoblade.
Regardless, Natalie is giving him the usually talk, which he could probably recite from memory at this point- and they're pulling up to the new home.
Maybe this house would turn out better than the last, Tommy mused, his ribs aching in memory.
“Alright,” Natalie slows down in front of one of the buildings. It's a deep green, almost grey, with a kept front yard and a slightly chipping door. “We’re here.”Only time would tell.
