Summary
They make quick haste before they reach Kurona's door, knocking lightly but audible enough to startle Kurona awake if he were still asleep. "Kurona?" Reo calls out for, knocking again after. "Are you awake? Nagi and I sort of need your help right now."
When there's no response, he knocks again. Quickly soon after, the door opens to reveal the full sight of Kurona, standing there with one hand on the doorknob and the other rubbing at his eye, a big yawn coming from him. "Reo, Reo...?" He asks after his yawn, his voice obviously sounding like he had just woken up.
"I'm really sorry to suddenly wake you like this," Reo starts to say with an apologetic smile, "but—"
"See, Reo, I told you he's a shortstack. It's not that we're tall, he's just really, really short, like a pipsqueak," Nagi suddenly cuts in, staring down pointedly at Kurona with a cool glare.
The sleepiness sort of blinks away from Kurona at that, and he looks up to Nagi with a wide, surprised look; Reo can't turn his head too much to look at Nagi directly, but his expression is absolutely aghast at how Nagi's suddenly decided to take a shot at Kurona. Nagi doesn't look affected at all by what he just said.

Ah. Reo tamps down a smile as he figures out exactly what Nagi's playing at. How cute. Maybe he'll tease him a bit more before giving him what he wants; Nagi's not the only one who knows how to play coy, after all.
"No?" Reo continues to hold the stick close to Nagi's mouth. "Then how else am I supposed to feed this to you?"

If my roommate wanted to move out so badly, why wouldn’t he just tell me?
I got kind of upset finding out, only because I thought the two of us discussed everything together. If he had a problem with me, he could at least try to talk to me about it before deciding to move out entirely, right? Even if it’s just so he can move out and buy a house for his girlfriend or whatever, I guess—couldn’t he at least talk to me about it instead of going behind my back?
The next morning, I was still upset, and it was a rare weekend that my roommate didn’t go out. So I asked him about it, sort of, and kind of insinuated that if he wanted to leave so badly, he might as well do it sooner than later. I didn’t mean for it to be rude, but in retrospect, it might have been unfair, especially the part where I told him I’d help with packing up. But I think I have the right to be a little upset, at least, right? AITA?

"Maybe because I'm not working from home today, dummy," Reo says back with a teasing tone, but Seishiro furrows his eyebrows together at that.
"Why not?" He whines, leaning down and stuffing his face into the crook of Reo's neck, wrapping his arms back under him and around his waist, trapping him beneath Seishiro with his full body weight. "Stay with me. Don't go to work."
Warmth pools into Reo's heart, and he swoons at Seishiro's honesty. He'd always been the clingy type, but it's different today, he notes. "Can't do that," he retorts. He's just as stubborn as Seishiro, after all. "You know I don't have that kind of liberty where I can just call out whenever. Besides, if I spoil you this once, you'll try pulling this stunt more."
Reo could practically feel how Seishiro pouts against his skin, nuzzling his nose to the space under Reo's ear but just above his jawline. "You're the Mikage CEO, you can do whatever... plus, today is special..."

“What the HELL is that,” Reo wheezes out. “Chigiri, what—what is that—”
Chigiri glances at his phone. “Oh,” he says blandly. “Yeah, didn’t I tell you they primarily make ship art?” He squints at Reo. “This isn’t the first time you’ve seen a ship account, why are you acting so—”
“They drew Nagi,” Reo shrieks, pointing an accusing finger at Chigiri’s phone, “shoving me into a wall—”
“It’s called a kabedon,” Chigiri says unhelpfully. Reo’s mouth flaps open and closed. Chigiri sighs. “Why are you so scandalized by this? I’ve seen you not even flinch at stuff way more scandalous than this.”
“Because it’s Nagi,” Reo stresses. “Give—give me the phone back—” He scrabbles for the phone in Chigiri’s hands, and once he’s got a hold of it, he brings it close to his face so that his nose nearly touches the screen. “And we’re kissing?”

"What happened?" Nagi asks, his hands trailing higher up Reo's cheeks so that his thumbs can swipe away at any tears threatening to spill from his eyes. "I've never seen you cry before..."
Reo's heart squeezes at that, because he knows Nagi knows that not a lot can shake Reo to his core. He hates making Nagi worry, he'd rather not explain this embarrassing dream of his to him, and especially more, he's just glad to be talking to him again after their fight. Nagi's hands are so warm. "It was just a scary dream," Reo whispers, offering Nagi a small smile. "When I woke up, I thought there was something in my room, so I ran."
It wasn't exactly a lie, but it wasn't the entire truth either, but as embarrassing as it sounded, it was better than telling Nagi exactly what his nightmare was and how badly it frightened Reo, so it'll do.

Reo could only blink at that, his eyes still glossed over from sleep as he stares blanky at Nagi. "...What time is it?" are the first words that come from his mouth.
Nagi, unphased, glances behind him to the alarm clock he has situated on his windowsill. "Around 6:30 AM," he answers, looking back to the other.
They didn't have to get up for another hour before they had to get ready for school, Reo notes to himself as a heartfelt grin overtakes his lips and initial shock. "You're up this early just to wish me a happy birthday?"
"Mm," Nagi hums, his expression doesn't change and yet it's so obvious to Reo that he's pleased. "Yeah. Happy birthday."
