“Wow—a compliment from the fist of Khonshu himself?” Peter laughed in disbelief, shuffling his body back so he rested against the backboard of the bed, his legs overlapping on the mattress while keeping his eyes on the man sitting in front of him.
Marc shrugged, unable to stop a smile from forming on his face.
“And a smile?” Peter chuckled, teasing him lightheartedly. “Does this mean we’re officially friends, Moon Buddy?”

Peter remembered one mission where Marc was complaining about blood stains to their fellow teammate Dagger—and while she answered pretty uneasily, Quill was almost positive that he wasn’t talking about his own blood.
So seeing Marc in such a state of vulnerability—the blood stains that accompanied the white he usually wore now from his own injuries instead of his enemies—was more than a little out of the ordinary. Not that Peter was complaining, though, he did get to see MoonKnight shirtless.
Oh god, he was whipped, wasn’t he?

Peter finds Marc bleeding in the middle of the night and offers to patch him up.

“Ouch.” Peter chuckled, before bringing up his hand to click the button on the side of his mask, letting it fragment from view. He ran a hand through his blonde hair before continuing.
“Not even swayed by the Legendary Starlord charm, huh?”
MoonKnight stared at him for a fraction of a second, letting his eyes glance over the man’s features before turning away again. Peter internally cringed at himself at MoonKnight’s silence. He really needed to get his ego in check sometimes.
OR:
Peter Quill tries to get MoonKnight out of his shell during a boring mission. Awkward flirting ensues.

wally inhales sharply through his nose. “right,” he mutters. “okay.”
he slings the bag over his shoulder and heads for the door. rain slowly starting outside, a low hiss behind the windows.
“leave your key,” dick says, without turning around.
wally freezes. for a second, he hesitates. he looks like he might say something — like he might ask if dick really means it.
instead, his arm reaches into the pocket of his jacket, pulling his key out and tossing it onto the counter.
his hand rests on the doorknob a moment longer than it should. still waiting.
