He turns, and yeah, this guy doesn’t look like much of a smoker. Ilya’s learned through time and experience that stoners come in all shapes and sizes, but it’s clear that he isn’t one: hair cut neat and short, straight-laced, brows furrowed into a scowl, shoulders all tight—too squared away. He’s probably not much of a drinker, either, if Ilya had to guess.
And he’s wearing a fucking suit, for Christ’s sake.
So boring, Ilya thinks, strangely delighted. He wants to take him by the collar and scruff up his hair, if only to see what he might do in response.
Or, Shane's struggling with anxiety. Hayden thinks his grumpy weed dealer might be able to help.

Whatever choice I make, I wouldn’t ask anything of you.”
“Good.” Ilya said coldly. He kind of felt like he was going to cry too. He wasn’t quite sure why. “I’m glad you know this.”

The resemblance hit Yuna like a punch to the gut. The same honey-colored curls, though hers were styled in a gorgeous twist at the back of her head. If Yuna could see past all of the times Ilya’s nose had been broken and re-healed, she imagined it would look something like the woman’s in front of her. And those eyes - a mix of hazel and gold with tiny flecks of green if you looked close enough. Ilya must have gotten his strong jaw from his father, because this woman’s features were narrow and sharp. Stunning.
When she smiled, it looked so like Ilya’s that Yuna could have cried.
“Irina,” she said.
“Yuna,” Irina said, bowing her head politely.

Penelope has always had admirers, she is after all the sweetest of the Featherington sisters; intelligent, witty, and rather pleasing to the eye. The Bridgertons, however, have rather held a monopoly over Penelope, and it has been assumed by everyone and their mother that Penelope either did not want to marry (Eloise’s influence) or that she had been claimed already (Colin).
With his statement, Colin puts an end to the assumptions, and the latest Whistledown ensures that the rest of the Ton are aware. The new season rolls around. Colin has left the country, date of return unknown, and Penelope appears to still be on the outs with anti-marriage debutante Eloise, and so with no more possessive Bridgertons surrounding her at all times, open season is declared on Miss Penelope Featherington. The remaining Bridgertons run interference where they can, but are thwarted at every turn. Antics ensue.
